PATHE is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization supported by member dues, private donations, grants, and corporate sponsorship. PATHE is committed to building stronger communities across Metro Detroit by empowering individuals and families through business support, academic tutoring, and healthcare advocacy. Why Give?

PATHE exists to break down barriers and create pathways to lifelong success. We believe that everyone, regardless of their income, background, or circumstances, deserves access to quality support, guidance, and opportunity.

Your gift helps us provide that access across three critical areas:

• BEACON: Your support fuels free tax preparation, financial education, and business development services for under-resourced entrepreneurs. Many of our clients come to us after being turned away or taken advantage of. Through BEACON, they receive trusted guidance, build financial confidence, and grow businesses that sustain families and create local jobs.

• LIFT: Educational equity starts with individualized support. Your donation helps us offer academic coaching that keeps students on track, especially those who are falling behind or navigating life’s challenges. LIFT meets them where they are and lifts them toward graduation, career pathways, and long-term success.

• RAPHA: Navigating the healthcare system can be overwhelming, especially for families facing language barriers, chronic illness, or limited resources. RAPHA provides compassionate support, helping clients understand their options, schedule care, and take charge of their health. Your gift ensures no one is left behind simply because they don’t know where to turn.

How You Can Help

You can support PATHE by donating to our General Fund, which helps sustain and grow our core programs across business development, education, and healthcare advocacy. Your gift may also be directed toward a specific arm—BEACON, LIFT, or RAPHA—depending on where you feel most connected. Sponsorships directly support our community-based services, making it possible for us to reach more families with high-quality support.
